Dieselcraft Fluid Engineering warrants its assembly and workmanship to be free from defects for four (4) years from the date of sale to the original purchaser.

Piusi Components

Piusi pumps, flow meters, and other Piusi-manufactured components are covered by Piusi USA’s limited warranty for two (2) years from the date of sale to the end customer. In no event may Piusi’s warranty extend beyond three (3) years from the date the product was sold by Piusi USA to Dieselcraft.

Piusi’s warranty covers defects in materials and manufacturing. Proof of purchase and the Piusi product serial number may be required. Piusi may repair or replace defective parts or products at its discretion.

Dieselcraft Workmanship

Dieselcraft warrants the workmanship involved in assembling and installing components into the Dieselcraft system for three (3) years from the original date of sale.

During this period, Dieselcraft will repair defects determined to have resulted from its assembly or workmanship. This warranty does not extend the original manufacturer’s warranty on Piusi components or other third-party parts.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or improper storage
  • Use with fluids for which the equipment was not designed
  • Improper installation, voltage, operation, or maintenance
  • Foreign material damaging the pump or flow meter
  • Unauthorized repairs, alterations, modifications, or disassembly
  • Freeze damage, corrosion, water intrusion, or environmental damage
  • Labor, travel, removal, reinstallation, shipping, downtime, lost profits, or other incidental or consequential expenses

Warranty Claims

Warranty claims must be submitted promptly and include proof of purchase, product model and serial number, a description of the problem, and photographs of the equipment, nameplate, and affected components.

No product may be returned without prior authorization and a Return Material Authorization number. Dieselcraft or Piusi may require the product or defective component to be returned for inspection before approving the claim.

Dieselcraft’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing defective workmanship or facilitating the applicable manufacturer’s warranty. Replacement parts or products may be new or refurbished. This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
